i hooked everything up, and there was basic cable, but none of the HD channels that comes with the service, it says call for authorization, which I did, im supposed to let it sit for 2 hours, i did that, and no channels at all now.i called again tried to re-do it, 2 hours later nothing again.WHATS WRONG!?!??!
Answer:
So you say you had a picture, then after calling Cox you lost ALL your channels? IF that's the case your cable box is bad.
Call Cox or run the DVR box back to Cox and get another unit.you'll have to call them when you get it hooked back up and make sure they transmit the authorization codes at that time.
