Is it worth buying a HD TV if you dont have HD cabel or an HD DVD player?

Question:
Im thinking about buying a HD LCD screen for my room, it will have regular cable, but will not have digital cabel or HD channels. Will this make a difference?

Answer:
Your picture will show up as an analog signal just like normal TV's but in 2009, all signals for TV have to be HD. Analog will be for govt uses only. Your HD TV will be ready to accept all HD signals at that time and the pictures will be very very good. Those people that do not have HD TV's will need a HD digital cable box to receive channels in 2009. hope this helps!
