I am getting a 720p hdtv. Will it broadcast 1080i channels like HBO, CBS, NBC, etc., in HD quality?

Question:

Answer:
Yes as long as the channels are available through your cable/satellite supplier. I suggest using HDMI cables to connect the tv to the box for best picture quality. I personnaly like the 720p picture over the 1080i. The 1080i is jagged when looked at close
It will downscale 1080i into 720p resolution. It's still considered "HD quality" but it will not be as high resolution as would be seen on a 1080i or better screen.
