Which is better, Dish Network, or Direct TV? I plan to purchase one soon.?

DIRECT TV, by far. i had both and tivo made it perfect. dish`s technology seems cheap their dvr can be slow. and sometimes it needs to be unplugged after daily updates it just freezes. please look strongly into direct tv. the only problem i ever had was we had a fire that destroyed everything and they would not help me out with another tivo mine was brand new. they more or less said oh well we had 3 receivers with tivo. your homeowners is supposed to take care of all that. but being hurt and out of work fork about a year forced us to give up a lot of things insurance being one of thoughs things. i was with them for 5 years. with good payment history. sorry it turned out that way but they are the best in my eyes. good luck.
