Home Theater audio setup?


Question:
My regular channels have a great full sound. However when I switch to HD channels my sound only comes from the center channel.

Anyone ever seen this?? any suggestions??

HD channels usually broadcast in 5.1
Dialog is always the center speaker but you should be able to hear some audio from the other speakers. If not, then switch your audio settings in the receiver. Try 5CH, Pro Logic II, or other settings.
Perhaps the signal is broadcasting in 5.1. I know NCIS on CBS does. In a 5 channel setup, dialog is usually in the center channel, with ambiance in the other 4.
