Yes the dish TV kit purchased in India will work in Oman. The only thing you need to ensure is that the account is activated in India. For that you need to get it installed in India operate it for couple of days and get the set top box here after it is acitivated. You can ask a local technician to install it for you in Oman (it costs around RO 20 incl the antenna). Dont get the antenna here as you need a larger one here.
