Will picture from Non-HD channels look better if I use a HD receiver instead of a regular Dish Receiver?

Question:
We recently bought a HD TV and have an Over-The-Air antenna to receive HD Channels( which works great ). Now I am trying to see if i get a HD receiver from dishnetwork, will that make the non-HD/SD channels to look better. ( Like how some DVDs do upconvert to 1080i or 720p.)

Answer:
It depends. Sometimes these receivers have the upconverter that you mentioned, like mine. You just have to check with the dish network people to see if that's a feature. (I have comcast so I'm not sure how dish works completely)
Satellite transmission is all digital. So SD broadcast look great.
