Answer:
They are all going to have sales soon to make room for new merchandise.
Watch for the fliers.
I almost hesitate to say so, but i have to be honest with you. Lots of people I know + those asking questions in this forum, are expressing troubles with DLP technology, like colored pixels showing up on the screen after 2-3 years, for one. They have convergence problems with Mitsubishi Big screen TVs after 3-4 yrs. I would go with Sony LCD HDTV, what ever size. Personally, I think 46" is lots big enough, because I know people with the really big screens, and are finding it too big for where they have it, and the resolution is not as good on the ones just a bit smaller. I love the HD technology, and with the Sony LCD Grand Wega, you have an engine that is an interface to give you good resolution on digital channels & HD ones. I bought an HDMI to DVI Monster cable from Ebay, new, for $ 56.00 Canadian. It would have cost $ 179 Can. at our stores. With that, you will not need component cables, but you will need an audio cable to go from your cable box to your receiver or DVD. As far as the resolution quality, you will get full value of whatever your cable company puts out. Blu-ray uses a blue-violet laser, which has a shorter wave-length, hence a clearer picture. I don't quite know what you mean by lines per inch with the DVD upgrade, so I guess I'm done. Contact me at: countb47@rogers.com if you want to discuss it more.
