Is my High Definition channel being broadcast in 720p or 1080i?

Question:
I have the DishNetwork High Definition package and have found the broadcast information for about 12 of the 30+ channels (ie: HBO-HD=1080i, Fox=720p, ESPN-HD=720p). Is there a site where I can find the broadcast information for all channels that are High Definition broadcast? And, should I be watching the channel/program in the format that it is broadcast in (720p or 1080i)?

Answer:
Can't help with the first part of your question but the latter part - the channel /network itself formats the signal feed to the satellite network - either in 720p or 1080i. There is nothing you can do to change that (at least none that I am aware of).
For what type of resolution you should be watching your tv in it depends on the size. Anything over 46" should be watched in either 1080i or 1080p. Obviously you could just google for the other questions as I don't have dishnetwork and do not know.
You can just make sure your receiver is shooting out at 1080i. If you have the VIP 211 go to Settings, Installation, HDTV setup and put it as 1080i.
