i know theres no such thing as hd antennas but i have a question about finding channels on my hdtv are hd channels the same as the regular ones and if they r not how do i find them i went to this site and it gave me all these channels like 25.1 and 64.1 but i have no idea how to get to any thing with a . in it

It provides recommendations for the type of antenna you need based on the location of your house and most important, WHERE to point your antenna.
If you have an HD TV, after you properly point your antenna, start an antenna channel scan. If the antenna find the channels, then you will be able to see them.
Your remote, should also have a "." or "-", which is used to enter digital channels, such as 2.1
