Will sky hd make a difference?


Question:
i have recently purchased a samsung le40f71bx 1920*1080 hd lcd tv and have it hooked up to a sky + box using a monster s video lead but i am dissapointed with the quality of picture it seems to be fuzzy in places especially on the edges of certain things. i have just purchased a sky hd box and will hook it up using the hdmi cable and getting sky to up my subscription to hd but am i going to be dissapointed or will it improve at all even on the non hd channels, any feedback will be much apreciated

My uncle has Sky HD and the picture quality is excellent but it is quite expensive. I think you need to way up whether it's worth it financially over your entertainment needs. If you can afford it then you should go for it though because you do notice a difference, especially with films and sci-fi TV shows.
You only get the benefit of HD on a HD channel.such as sky 1 HD.
They use special waves and techy stuff to clarify the picture or something like that.
A friend of mine purchased a HD tv and subscribed to hd channels and she was blown away, as was I.
Its like sitting infront of a window.
Well worth it.
It'll look a lot better with a HD signal.
