What is better; dish, direct TV or digital cable with HD?
Question:
Also, what features should I look for in buying an HD compatible DVD player?
thanks!
Answer:
LoveBiologist is correct. You better off with cable. Lifeofdistin.. is incorrect about price. Alot of time dish more expensive in the long run then cable. But with cable you get alot of services. Including VOD, DVR, interactive services. Time Warner offers Caller Id on your TV so you don't have to get up off your couch in some area's. Time Warner is also working on a feature called startover where if you turn to a channel and you missed almost all of it you can press a button and watch it from the begining. Try that with your Direct TV or dish network.
Here are some details about it on the web link below. Look in highlights.
If you are going for more sports, then go with Direct TV. Otherwise, I would recommend Dish because their have the best prices and the best value for you money. Cable is just downright expensive.
I like Digital Cable with HD and DVR. No need to put a big dish outside! It looks tacky, you have to pay for it, and you'll lose reception when it rains or gets too windy.
