Question:
I want to control my HD reciever with my samsung remote control but i cant do it even with the codes it comes with in the TV manual. I find it odd becuase the samsung remote even has the same 4 buttons(the colored ones) as the directv remote to control the channels. hopefully there is something i can do.

I've got a 3 samsung household! I just use the directv remote for the tv.
Other than just having an extra remote is there anything you need regularly?
I've been looking at the Logitech Harmony remotes, they may solve my problem. I want 1 remote for everything.
