Does anyone know how to fix the sound on HD broadcasting.The sound is alot lower on the HD channels.?

Question: I have plasma and LCD and it's the same problem on both. Please help

I NOTICED THE SAME THING. I HAVE TIME/WARNER CABLE. WHY THEY CAN'T EVEN OUT THE SOUND IT BEYOND ME.
ONE EXPLANATION COULD BE THAT SOME HD CHANNELS ARE BROADCAST IN 5.1 SURROUND WITH A MUCH LARGER DYNAMIC RANGE AND THE CABLE PROVIDERS MAY ASSUME THAT MOST PEOPLE USE THE CHEAP SPEAKERS THAT COME WITH MOST TV'S THAT WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE SIGNAL. THERE ARE SO MAY COMPROMISES WITH HDTV. REALISTICALLY MOST OF WHAT WE WATCH IS STANDARD DEF.
