What's wrong with my LCD tv?

Question:
i plugged an HD cable while the component cables were still in and the tv has been blurry ever since whether its with the HD cable by itself or the old component wires. Now the HD cable someone got for me cheap for 15 bucks so i dont know how good it is. Sometimes for a second or 2 the tv acts crazy. And the cable company came out and replaced the cable box and component cable yet it was still blurry (some channels are better than others). Strangely the HBO channels are on and i never signed up for that.

Answer:
Tvs don't get blurry when you connect multiple cables to multiple inputs. It is perfectly OK to connect both component and HDMI inputs.

Analog cable will look pretty bad no matter what cable you use. Digital cable should look pretty clean.

You don't mention how big is your TV.

Here are some ideas:
Set your set-top box to output in 720p ; check video quality
Now set your set-top box at 1080i; compare again

If you have an HD TV, make sure the set-top box is not set at 480i or 480p (this is standard def).

If nothing improved video quality, it may be time to call TV support.
You have HDMI settings in your SETUP program in your TV, that need to be adjusted. If this doesn't solve your problem, then check the HDMI cord, and also, check your INPUT setting in your menu.
