Question:
I want to get a longer cord because the one my company provided is too short. anyway I have heard that Quad-shield RG6 cables or the best especially for HDTV channels. Is there another better kind of rg6 cable i can get? I need at least 6 feet.

Answer:
At a measly 6 feet, RG-6 QS will do. Look no further.

Note to your additional comment on F connectors: Yes, your RG-6 QS cable needs to be terminated in F connectors. Usually they are fixed to the cable with a crimp or compression sleeve, which requires a tool. One can get "twist - on" connectors, but I cannot recommend them.

You can buy high quality cables with the F connectors already attached at many electronics dealers.
If your talking about the cable before the receiver, using RG-6 Quad Shield with the compression type F connectors and a F coupler rated for the higher frequencies is critical. I don't know where you are, but I bought one from this store in MA. http://www.electronicsplus.com it cost around $7 for the cable and $2 for the coupler
