We have an HD tuner and get the basic Time Warner digital cable service with like 10 hdtv channels...that's it. The regular digital channels look not so great. Also, i thought you could get hd reception just through the digital feed for those shows that are broadcast in hd...i didnt think you could only watch hd shows on hd only channels. What's up with that? I get NBC digital and NBC HD, for example, and on the digital feed, the reception sucked! Of course on the NBC HD channel, it was fine.

You need an HDTV tuner from Time-Warner. Chances are that you new television is HD-ready or HD compatible. There are only a limited number of HD channels/networks in given areas. If you don't subscribe to Time-Warner HD, then you can't simply get it! Check with
