Standard definition tuner for an HD monitor?

Question:
I current have a 37 inch Westinghouse 1080p monitor for gaming, but I would also like to watch the regular tv programming that is provided by my cable company on it as well. What can I do to achieve this? BTW, my cable signal is NOT digital so I don't have a set-top box, it is just the regular 60 channel-ish programming.

Answer:
If your cable is just analog simply hook it into a vcr and hook the vcr up to your monitor using composite video cables (red, white, yellow). You can just use the VCR as your tuner.
VCR is the easiest way to get a tuner. Hook cable to the vcr then vcr to monitor with composite cables.
