Is there any television provider that shows HD shows whenever they are available. Like I know that some shows on the National Geographic channel are broadcast in HD when available, but with comcast there is no channel for National Geographic HD shows. Do any other service providers like DirecTV just broadcast in HD whenever available? like it just changes over to HD whenever the show could be in HD without me changing the channel. Thanks

Not sure I completely understand your question but aside from the major networks, channels such as H&G, Discovery, ESPN have a dedicated HD channel that broadcasts in HD (wanna say all the time but not always true). DirecTV and Dish Network offer those channels and I know cable companies offer the same, just not as many.
