Oblivion gamers: How do you use the Xbox 360 controller with the PC version of Oblivion?

Also, and this is for all Oblivion players, my system randomly crashes when starting the game. I haven't even gotten past the character creation screen. I already downloaded the latest patch, but I do have anti-virus & anti-spyware running. Should I turn these off? I'm at medium settings with 1024 x 768 resolution.
My system specs are as follows:
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
MSI K8N Neo4-F
Seagate Barracuda 160 Gb SATA HD
1 Gb Crucial (2x 512 MB Dual Channel) DDR PC3200
HIS Hightech ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256 MB

Answer:
as far as the crashes, its a very glitchy game. i've never had more problems with any other game since ninendo was around. as far as the controller, i didn't know a driver could do that even though it is usb.
