Oblivion PC gamers ONLY: How do you use the Xbox 360 controller with this game?

Question:
I already downloaded the drivers for it, but I have no idea how to map it. So this question is strictly for those who are successfully using a Xbox 360 controller for the PC version for this game.

Also, and this is for all Oblivion players, my system randomly crashes when starting the game. I haven't even gotten past the character creation screen. I already downloaded the latest patch, but I do have anti-virus & anti-spyware running. Should I turn these off? I'm at medium settings with 1024 x 768 resolution.

My system specs are as follows:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
MSI K8N Neo4-F
Seagate Barracuda 160 Gb SATA HD
1 Gb Crucial (2x 512 MB Dual Channel) DDR PC3200
HIS Hightech ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256 MB
Samsung DVD RW
Windows XP SP2

Please help!

Answer:
The requirements from the home page are
Minimum System Requirements:

Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows XP 64-bit
512MB System RAM
2 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
128MB Direct3D compatible video card
and DirectX 9.0 compatible driver;
8x DVD-ROM drive
4.6 GB free hard disk space
DirectX 9.0c (included)
DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card
Keyboard, Mouse

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ is weak for this game.

As for the controller, I can't help you. I would never use a controller for a First Person Game, the mouse & keyboards set up is much better. Trust me, I know it takes time to get used to at first but it's worth it.
