Hd programming too limited?? also if i order hd can i still get my regular programs on the hd tv?
Question:
especially when it comes to sports (football) (or soccer in usa) and so few channels have hd and perhaps the only good hd channel is hbo.
and maybe tnt.
i am wondering when will more and more hd channels become available as hd is currenetly WAY too limited.
its not worth it and its a shame as i have an hd tv but its pointless to get hd programming as i will end up just watching regular tv.
Be patience, it'll take some time for HD to build up. In case you havn't noticed, there are still people w/ SDTV sets ;-)
You, my friend, by paying for HD is a positive step to help the networks get more $ to get more HD content.
i have time warner cable and they dont charge you extra for HD channels, like dish does.
espn2 broadcasts in HD and they do have MLS matches on regularly. i am fairly certain ABC will be showing the champions league final in HD next month.well, at least they BETTER since they showed the world cup in HD. of course, fox soccer channel doesnt and that sucks.but with skytv in the UK now broadcasting in HD, and since fox soccer has the same owner as sky, maybe they'll be offering it in a year or so.fingers crossed!
on my hd tv, even regular broadcast show look 100 times better than on regular tv's. also discovery has some kick-*** shows in HD...like planet earth.
