How can I watch local Chnls in LCD TV without cable, or dish...thanx?

Question:
I just moved in to anew location, with no dish allowed. and i dont like cables. if there is any device i can buy, please advise.
thanx

Answer:
Connect an antenna to the back of the TV where you would connect the cable TV, and on the settings or menu of your TV, set it up so the TV picks up local AIR instead of cable TV. Reception will be poor and will sort of betray the idea of spending extra $$ for an LCD
you need an HD tuner. If you TV doesn't have one. I suggest you get cable.
You can buy a Antenna from radio shack or a local electronics store and hook up to your tv that way.
