What should I go with Dish Network or DirectTV?

Question:

I have cable at the moment, but I want to go with satellite because I have an HDTV. Currently my cable provider doesn't offer any HDTV channels. I have reaserched them both and at the moment I'm leaning towards Dish Network. Currently Dish Network seems to have more HD channels and is somewhat cheaper than Direct TV. Direct Tv on the other hand says they will be providing more HD channels in the future?? I was just wanting some opinions from people that have tried both companys or are currently happy with one of them and which one I should chose.

I have been a dish customer for 12 years and have never had any complaints with their service.

Both companies are continuously upgrading their programing.

Go with the company that offers what you want for the best deal.

I'd clearly vote for Dish cause:

- cheaper
- more channels and more variety
- awesome picture quality
