Time Warner Cable or Verizon Fios or Dish Network or Direct TV for HDTV and broadband Internet in So. Cali?
Question:
Which provider is the cheapest and the best with what I'm looking for? I'm in Southern California/Ventura County.
Answer:
Hi,
I'd clearly vote for Dish cause:
- cheaper
- more channels and more variety
- awesome picture quality
You might check out http://www.dishnetworkbargains.com... - They currently run some promo with free Dish and DVR you might take advantage of. If you have any questions just call 'em up, they are professional and helpful.
Hope that helps.
Best wishes
Jenna
i prefer dish. the only things is you cant tape programs with it.
From what I have seen on East coast, FIOS offers the best quality picture - due to lower compression. The rest of the bunch looked about the same to me - cable, satellite.
FIOS and cable companies offer good internet and phone service.- satellite dont.
They all offer ~$10/mo HD DVR.
My choice would be FIOS. If not available - I would go for the best price, since other offerrings look the same to me...
Well I had all except Verizon, and by far I have to say DirecTV is the best. Thier channels look more clear, and they sound a WHOLE lot better than any other service out there. And the have more HD channels the anyone else.
Go with the best, GET DIRECTV!
If you can get FiOS, that's your best bet. Amazing speeds, decent HD Selection.
If not, then go with DISH for price and the availability of many HD channels over Voom. At that point, you'll either want broadband through cable or dsl (cable is usually faster).
I suggest you go for Dish Network as they offer you a free DVR upgrade, plus all those channels you want. Packages start at $19.99/mo.
They also have the internet you want.
