We have Direct Tv and love it...it has a great picture and there are a lot of channels that you can get.my cousin had dish network and had nothing but problems with it
Direct Tv has more HD channels but I think Dish is better.
Direct TV is much better then dish network,direct TV charges less with alot more channels,and dish network charges more with alot of less channels.
I have Direct TV. If you are a NFL Football fan and are going to want "NFL Sunday Ticket", you will need Direct TV.
If you sign up and tell them I sent ya, we both get $50 bucks.
I have and like DTV, I have tivo on it and only $5 extra a month oh and I got all of the stars channels (12) for $12 extra

You can even upgrade your receivers to DVR or HD/DVR for free. With DirecTV, you have to pay for upfront charges and upgrade of receivers. Dish Network offers more channels for less charge and has double the number of HD channels than DirecTV. Dish Network HD broadcast quality is also superior over that of DirecTV as they use a more recent variant of MPEG4. Equipment-wise, Dish Network also is superior in both technology, responsiveness, and in being user-friendly. You even get up to $20 discount for ten months. Moreso, you can opt to have an HD/DVR even if you don't subscribe to HD programming, whereas DirecTV will require you to sign up for HD programming before they can sell you an HD receiver or HD-DVR.
