i live in missouri and i was wondering what highschool programs i can use for the upcoming year. there's some virtual high school thing coming out but i don't know if i'll be accepted into that. i was at a private school all my life till this year[sophomore year] and public school isn't exactly where i feel safe in i guess because i've been so sheltered..and private school is too expensive now...and im now on medication for anxiety and depression and most of the time i get too worked up to go..so i want to know where i can find a good education that's not thousands and thousands of dollars. any help? i guess anything online or recommended books or computer programs would help a lot.
Answer:
One school used by Foreign Service families is the University of Nebraska-Lincoln program. It is a fully accredited program and the one on which the homeschooling allowance for high schoolers has been calculated. A student has to complete 5 courses (basically a year) through the school, combined with other credits, to receive a diploma.
