I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for--but--I have found several legitimate work at home sites so far, and I made $500+ in October, over $700 in November, $900+ in December, $700+ in January, and over $850 last month. They are free to join.

I make money on the Internet by completing offers on various sites. Some of the offers might consist of signing up for other survey sites, a wide variety of different websties, and doing trial offers. You need a website - a nice professional looking one - to be seen as legit.
You must have lots of contacts over those 25 years. Ask them for quotes about you, your work, and your results. Print them on the website.
Find a mentor who is willing to attache their name to yours - the more well known names you can use legitimately, the better.
You've been writing for 20 years?
List your book titles & publishers. List the magazines you have published in (date & title). All on the website of course - not in the release - but make sure the release has a link back to the website.
People need to be able to find more info easily, before they will invest .
