What can I do or say?

Question:
My friend told me her story, she didn't know who else to tell but I don't know what to tell her to do. She was going to a public school but after some complications, it just wasn't working out for her. No schools in cities near by had open enrollment, so she attended an online homeschooling program. Well that didn't work out because the computer broke. Her mother wouldn't take the computer to get fixed even though the homeschooling office is 10-15 minutes away from where they live. Months and months went by and eventually she was kicked out of the school because of no work being done.
anyway she doesn't want to drop out of school. She wants to get caught up and graduate, but her mother won't enroll her in any schools. What advice can I give her? I feel really bad for her and want to help
Call Dept of Human Services. If she is a minor, then by law she has to be going to school.
... what mother wouldn't want her child to go to school?
hmm..
well, y don't u talk to ur school principal or someone? maybe they can help get her to enroll in ur school. Or, find a tutor, though that might be a bit more expensive. do home schooling.
how old is your friend?
If she is under 16 (varies by state)
call the child protective services.
Report her
it is child abuse not to have a child enrolled in school.
You dont even have to give your name (or you can pretend like you are a counselor from the school)
anyhoo they have to investigate
and will probably tell the mother she has to enroll her kid or else.
tell someone grown up maybe they can do something about it she cant do or be anything without and education and education is very important in a human beings life be there when ure friend needs u it sounds like that ure friends mom is really careless where does she work at mc donalds whatabuger tell her mom that she should lose the attitude thats what i would do
contant dss and tell them her mom is refusing to let her futher her education they will make her mom enroll her in school.
Here are some options:
1. Call the authorities to get help
2. Contact a school counselor to get help
3. Talk to her mother
4. Enroll herself in an alternative school. (In Texas we have Dallas Can! where teens can still graduate from college.

Try to get her to do something. She should be able to go to school. Like it was stated, it is the law.
