just recently (severaly months) my gaurdians(grandparents) have stopped physicaly abusing me, and because i have a job now and work like 10 hours overtime a week have stopped pissing me off. im 16 and will be 18 in a year and 9 1/2 months. what would be smart to do til then? i honestly cannot stand my family. i often wish i could go home and find out they died.i have never had a boyfriend and havent had a friend in well over a year, i want to be a pstry chef and they wont let me bake anymore, i want to get ahead in life but because they thought public schools would corupt me they said i should study online, they never payed and me being stoopid went along with it but they never payed for the online highschool thing. i should be a junior this fall but havent completed the 8th grade yet! i am planning on getting my ged this fall and am begining to save money but what else can i do to prepare for my future(1 year 9 months away) since i wont have/want my family?

umm you should probaly tell the police. they might be able to find you some sort of half way house or something. and it doesnt sound ideal, but you sound like someone who isnt going to let anything beat you now!
Try and get outta there if you can and try and make friends!
You might make one that is willing to move out with you and share expenses the longer you isolate yourself the harder it is to get back into mainstream society!
Go to Job Corps. I went and it was a little different for me but they provide you with ample opportunities. Depending on which one you go to they have culinary arts as a trade and meanwhile they can help you get your GED, along with your drivers license. AND you do receive a small amount of money every two weeks (but they provide you with meals and uniforms for the week). If you complete the trade and receive your GED within 2 years and 2 months they have an extended culinary arts schooling program they assist job corp students to get into. Now what you can do because you are 16 is go to the office yourself and explain the situation to someone there and they will help you. GOOD LUCK!
