ok so i really like this kid. he just broke up w/ his girlfriend. i havnt seen him all summer cuz hes been away at the beach. ive talked to him online and stuff. the problem is...i go to an all girls boarding school in the next town over. he goes to the public high school. we're really good friends and all and he said he wants to come visit me at school. my question is...do you think he likes me and if he ever asked me out, do you think it could work with us like not seeing each other alot?

Just go for it, chances are it will work out but you wont know until you try.
of course it can work out! maybe he lyks you...i mean...he wanna visit you. try to see and ask him how he feel about you. and try to tell him how u feel about him.
