I'll be moving to Oak Lawn, IL within the next year & need to find a public school with a special education program. My child s autistic. I can't believe its been so difficult to find such simple info online. I've searched for awhile & will continue to search. I figured someone here might be able to help.

The Village of Oak Lawn is located at 9446 S. Raymond Ave., Oak Lawn, IL 60453 Phone (708) 636-4400 Our hours are 8:30 - 5:00. We are open until 8:00 p.m. on the Second and Fourth Tuesdays of the month. 24 Hr Non Emergency Police 422-8292.
You can call them and they will give you the information. but i think oar lawn is part of a community education system.

Considering the situation, the best thing to do would be to call the State board and get information that way. Looked up the number online ...

Dag, It was taking me a while to find it out as well until I realized that the State of Illinois runs the Dept of Education.
