Like it or hate it, the Annabelle Project was an issue raised with much controversy. I always thought it was a cruel school project. So what was it? The project was to get online, find a girl, and see if you can make or break her love. The thesis was on Internet Dating. I found an older girl 22 online by the name of ‘Annabelle’ and took her on a date and I was always at my best to her. I would treat her as a princess, give her roses, gifts and bring her out on romantic dates. Through time she fell in love with me but I kept my distance from her since I only knew she was my project. Fast forward, one day I called her and thanked her for her participation for my thesis report. She broke down in tears only to know she was just a project for a case study made for the public to read. Feeling guilty I scraped the thesis and agreed Internet dating is a viable alternative to real life dating and never forgave myself. Guys don’t ever do that to girls!
