Question:
Hi, I am trying to find some online courses that I can take to supplement my schedule at school. I have completed my high school's math curriculum this year, as a junior. My school does not offer Economics AP courses, and I am very interested in the subject. I am looking for decent online courses on Multivariable Calculus and Economics(Macro/Micro, at an AP level) for independent study. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
I live in NY, attending courses at a local college/university would be too inconvienent with traveltime and whatnot. I have adminstrative approval for the MultiVariable course, but I have to find it myself. I was thinking along the lines of courses offered by prestigious universities, and was wondering which offered them, and how helpful they were
Answer:
Hi,
For math, try these two:

http://ocw.mit.edu/ocwweb/mathematics/in...
For economics, try this under VEE,although I don't know if it is geared for giving college credit:

Have you already checked to see if the community college offers the course online? Most do and it wouldn't require you to travel to the campus.
