Are online college degrees as good as "regular" degrees?

Question:

Answer:
It depends on what you're majoring in.

If you can afford it you should go to a regular college.
Depends on the degree. I would not hire someone as a nurse who has an online degree. I would want someone with supervised experience in college. I might hire a programmer who learned it online.
yes, but some are looked at differently. make sure that the online degree is coming from an accreditted college otherwise it is meaningless. that accutally goes for all colleges.
Yes, if they are accredited.
I have a freind who got her degree online, and she now has a pretty high paying job dealing with web design
I really depends on what perspective you are coming from. If you are coming from a perspective of a student getting the education, you have to truly know what is your best learning style, and how good the online classes are. If you are coming from the perspective of "Does it look better on paper?" Your degree will not say "Bachelor of Arts ONLINE" No one will know the difference by looking at your degree.
they don't carry as much weight, because degrees can sometimes just be bought, and the person actually doesn't study.
