Will financial aid assist with online programs?

Question:
I am looking to enroll in the LPN to BSN completely online program through The College Network and Indiana State University. I will never have to go on campus for any reason. My clinicals will be local and classes strictly online. Is there any financial aid that will help me with the cost of this program? Are there any scholarships that will apply to it? I know The College Network offers guaranteed financing, but I would like to have to pay back as little as possible considering I am broke. TIA for any help.

Answer:
try to aim for grants/scholarships more... they are not to be paid back. its confusing sometimes, but just keep applying.

every big (and small) company you see (manufacturer, orgs, corps and groups also) all have grants and scholarships they hand out like candy.

heres a link with a HUGE amount of some available. some you will need to copy and paste into a new window. also, fastweb (take the time to fill it in) will search databases and get back to you with a list of scholarships you qualify for.

Also contact all mens, womens associations in your state, they almost always have grants & scholarships. What ever field you are going into, contact the orgs, associations etc for them; they too always have scholarships. Research and dig, call then write. Its all worth it.

OVER apply; it doesnt hurt to have too many, and the extra funds can help with housing.

WOW~that's an awesome ques.--never thought about it. sorry i don;'t know but had to post just to see the answers here :o) i sure hope so.
Yes, there is financial aid for online programs. The one
you might want to check into, because your money is
low, is the Pell Grant. This is a government grant that you
don't have to pay back.
Since you are doing it through a university (Indiana State), I think you could file financial aid for through that university since they are after all classes :)
If they are accredited they will accept pell grants, loans, etc. VERY Few online classes are accredited.. Be aware that a LOT of employers will NOT hire you if u have gotten a degree online.. If the college network is actually part of ISU, you should have no problem...www.scholarships.com have scho. for medical professionals.
