I'm looking to take online courses for an associates degree in liberal arts or business and I'm applying to phoenix online college. So far one person said that the college is no good and that if you wanted to transfer to another school you couldn't transfer your credits and that no companies think phoenix online is a good college. I need to know what you think so that i'm not makeing the wrong choice. And I definetly don't want to waste my time takeing courses online and not be able to transfer my credits or have a job say that the college that I went to is bad.

Please save your money, and don't go near Phoenix on-line course. It is a fake University. In fact anyone with a so called Phoenix degree is not recognize here in Europe. In fact some states in the USA don't recognizes Phoenix so called University. Remember Phoenix University use to advertise on Yahoo, when you log on. I made a complaint about it and Yahoo removed it. I have checked up on Phoenix background, and was told that the Department of Education in the US don't recognize it.

The "University of Phoenix" is a scam. Whatever diplomas / certificates/ degrees it awards are not recognized as being legitimate in the academic world ... and if you type the name into a search engine you will get all kinds of responses by people who have had endless troubles in having their money refunded for classes that do not exist run by teachers who nobody has ever heard of.
