Which is better if i plan to attend a college online high school diploma or job corps and GED?

Question:
I am 16 I dropped out of high school with 6 credits i should be a jr. I want to attend Devry or Olympia college.I dont know if i should go to job corps to get a trade & GED or take classes online 4 my high school diploma.does colleges and jobs accept those?

Answer:
Call the colleges you want to go to and ask which you should do. You might actually be able to go back to high school and finish, which might be the best option, or take GED classes in your community.

My husband went to job corps and he said that it was not a good place. I know they have different ones all over the place, and some might be better, or be better run than the one he went to. He said at the one he went to, there were fights constantly, and people having sex anywhere and everywhere, people using drugs, all kinds of stuff going on. I had a young female employee who had been there and she told me lots of stuff that was similar to what my husband said. She had left without her GED because she got pregnant. She was 17. I think the problem with job corps is that there are a lot of people who go there because they are given a choice between job corps and jail, and they create an atmosphere that isn't good for learning, even for the people who are there voluntarily.
