Can anyone tell meif these online college degrees are worth pursuing and have any real value in the real world
Question:
Answer:
I will not consider hiring anyone that got an online degree, unless it is from a real school that is accredited. For example, for the technical people I hire, the accreditation must be by ABET. An easy way to tell if the online program is accredited, is by calling the admissions office of your local university and ask them if they will accept credits from the online program you are looking at.
Good luck.
Some are fraud u have to be very careful plus the ones that are real are not respected by most and considered to be RREAL degrees.
My friend is almost done with her B.A. from Phoenix University. She's using it to advance beyond her current job (same employer, paid by employer). I recently read an article that most online Ph.D.s are total cr*p, though.
Yes, but look for a college that is not only on-line. Devery offers both in class and on-line classes. I find on-line classes very difficult because I don't have the discipline and don't like all the essays (there are more than a regular class to ensure you are doing and understanding the work). Community colleges are more affordable and offer some of their classes on-line.
univerty of pheonix is a highly credited online school and was at the top of the top 10 online schools in us news weekly... especially for business, but its just a little bit expensive, right now their credit hours are around 450 a piece. where as at your local comminity college its probably only around 80-100. so, its pricey but all 100% online. good luck ♥
