If you are wanting to get an online degree in education then I would recommend the Western Govenors program. It is the ONLY online college that in NCATE certified. When you go to apply for a job in teaching the school district will be looking for that NCATE stamp. If its not there then your tough out of luck. Western Govenors is an accelerated program. The website below will give you more info.

Many accredited brick-and-mortar schools have on-line degree programs.
Baker College out of Michigan has great on-line degree programs.
Check out www.baker.edu
Very affordable at about $180 per credit hour. Fairly quick at 4 semesters per year, 2 6-weeks sessions per semester.
I rec'd my degree from the on-line program at Baker and my degree and transcript are the same as those students attending the traditional classes at Baker.
