Online colleges?
Question:
thankyou.
Answer:
There is considerable debate about this. Please remember that, as noble as "education" seems, public, large-scale education was developed in the United States to train children how to work in factories during the industrial revolution. Prior, education was predominantly done through apprenticeships. I work in online learning for a community college in CT. Although online learning has been met with some opposition, it's gaining recognition throughout the country. If you're nervous, a good solution may be to enroll in a degree program and do some of your electives online. Regardless, make sure you've done your research on the school, just as you would if you were looking to enter a "traditional brick-and-mortar" classroom. Read below to see my editorial on online learning (which was published in several CT papers). It may give you and your father something to chew on.
The Uni of Phoenix is Ok.
I'd contavt them or google online schools.
Doing research ahead of time would be the best bet, I think.
