I see a lot of people bashing the University of Phoenix, so I wanted to hear from people that have actually graduated from there and have gotten a decent job? UoP does have actual campuses, so the bad reputation can't be just from being an 'online college.'
Answer:
I know someone who has 2 MAs from UOP and she though she was going to get a great job in education in admin. She did not-she is working for the YMCA with seniors - making around 15K a year.
The issue with UoP is that it is for profit, this is the major concern some have. You may want to contact them directly and ask for a list of alums local to you. Most universities will have this as a part of the recruitment program. I'm sure UoP is in line with this. CI
