Can you get an Associates degree in English and then a Bachelor's in another subject?
Question:
Answer:
Absolutely! Not only that, but you can get an Associates in one field, a Bachelor's in another, a Masters in another and a Doctorate in yet another. Most programs in the US do not require a previous degree be in the same subject, although there are some that do and others that simply require a degree in a related field. But for the most part, if they require a previous degree, they do not specify what field the degree should be in.
Hope that helped! Good luck! =)
You can earn your associates degree in anything, in your case English. But make sure you do take the pre-requisite courses that are required in order for you to get into the film major in the undergrad institute.
Yes.
At the very worst, it might take you a few extra semesters at a four-year-college, but that isn't likely. Your first two years at any college are mostly about getting the core classes out of the way (science, math, English, etc.) so you should be fine. And if your school offers film classes within the English department (mine did), take them! Mostly, though, work with an advisor at your school to make sure you're on the right track.
Yeah, you're able to do that. However, you have to make sure that the courses you take actually help you towards your bachelor's in film.
