Should I transfer to another school even if is far?? I cant afford the univ. near home.
Answer:
College is a great time to make connections with people who can help you make it in your career. It's one of the best places to network - a springboard for your new life.
Therefore, it's a good idea to find a place with students and faculty that you feel are similar to you in values and ambitions - you can all help each other advance career-wise.
I would agree that you need to look into financial aid, grants, loans and the like. You can find information on this online or at the library.
Look for a college that suits the direction of your life and go for it. Sounds like it's time to get out of your area and start making a life for yourself.
transfering would probably make u alot happier.
If you hate it that bad, comsider student loans, Pell Grants, non-traditional student grants (being over 25 you qualify.) Research other colleges, see what credits will tansfer (I'd go with the one that allows most or all of the credits to transfer) and go there to visit. Most colleges have housing of some sort that you can live in, so that you don't have to drive to it. Even if you have a family, most colleges have married student housing.
If you are truly that unhappy with it, go somewhere else. Seriously.
