When applying for grad school for PHD at a traditional college, will they accept a MS from an online school?

Question:

Answer:
Each school will have their own policy, and every person on an admissions committee will place different value on an online degree. Despite personal preferences of the adcomm, if your degree comes from an accredited program, it should be accepted.

If it is not from an accredited program, it will only be noted that you have a MS, but will not be given much weight. Fortunately, many PhD programs do not require that you already hold a Masters.
