How does Online college differ from being at the traditional in class setting?
Question:
Answer:
There are a few things to consider when deciding to take on-line or traditional classes. On-line classes offer the convenience of deciding when and where to go to class. But there is definitely more work involved, you need to do the reading, and assignments. If you get lost you need to be able to articulate what you don't understand and many times your fellow classmates are the ones answering your questions so they may not always be correct.
Traditional classes force you to go to class at a certain time/place but you have instant feedback from your instructor.
I have taken on-line and traditional classes, I prefer on-line but there is more work involved. Phoenix and Strayer are two national programs but they cost as much as a private university. Check into local community colleges and state colleges, they are constantly adding on-line classes/degrees.
depends on institute some have very little difference. Others were you are on line for test and use workbooks for classwork are sometimes very hard to understand without a person physically there to show you one on one.
From my personal experience I think on-line classes are more time consuming.
