Question:
I am looking to take a couple of college courses online, like Spanish and Statistics. I want to complete them at my own pace and have the entire class be online. Are there any online schools that offer this that are accredited? I need these courses to be transferable to the California University system; it does no good for me if they aren't. The online schools I have come across so far seem to offer degree programs, but they don’t seem like they offer individual courses. Furthermore, I can't verify whether or not the courses will transfer? Any ideas?
Also, I want the courses to be able to start when I am ready and not just start and end during the traditional semester schedule.
Answer:
Have you checked to see if the university system has any of their own?
Try Kaplan College!!
They are online and I know a few people who have gone through them and were very happy!
Good Luck!
Best Wishes !!
You may try the actual university you want to go to. I know several universities are now implementing on-line classes into their curriculum. If not, you might want to check a few local community colleges, there should definitely be some on-line course offerings there, and that way you know it's accredited. You wouldn't be getting the credit form an "On-line College" but an accredited community college.
