Heart Surgery, Online College?
Question:
Answer:
Please tell me you are kidding.
I doubt that there are any online medical schools. I also believe that getting an undergraduate degree online would make it very difficult to get into a medical school.
So -- please tell me tha tyou are kidding.
If you aren't kidding you must be in your own little world. They have to supervise you when you go through medical school, so you'll have to go to a campus college.
I concur with everyone else: you cannot get a medical degree online. You will have to go through years of school then do a residency in a real hospital.
See this from the Occupational Outlook Handbook:

Look up clinical training. You need hands on training with a teacher right there with you. Surgery isn't something you can do online.
Even to get into med school, they require certain classes. Many of them require labs. That's something that requires you to be there in person. So, you couldn't even get into med school from an online school, let alone do a surgical residency online.
There's a reason people consider online schools to be a joke. For many professions, they are. Online schools are helpful for a limited group of people, mainly adults who have a BA at most and are looking to go in another direction but can't afford to leave their job. For professionals, online is not the way to go.
