Why would a guy that I met 2 weeks ago at college and never went on date with ask me to be his girlfriend?

Ok, here's the story, I met this guy at college and weve been talking on aim now for about 4 weeks. Hes never had the guts to take me or ask me on a date. Today while I was talking to him online, he asked me if i wanted to be his baby, and I was like how in the world can he ask me that if i have never even hung out with him b4. Is this normal, or is this guy psycho?? Also, today he asked me if i wanted to see a movie with him, and I said yes. So , I was waiting for him to give me a day and time, and he never did. I had to sign offline, so I asked him when he wanted to see the movie and he said tmrw maybe. Is this guy weird,should I drop him all together? Why is he acting like this?

Have you spoken to this guy face to face since you met him 2 weeks ago? It might be that you are IM'ing with someone who overheard your conversation, and got your sign-on name. Some kind of stalker.

If you're sure it's the same guy then I'd say cut him loose. Life's too short for this type of aggravation! Jeez - you're in college. There are plenty of guys out there that wont play these middle-school games with your head.

maybe the guy likes you and is only a little bit scared of the next move. the point is, i wouldn't waste my time on a guy who couldn't make up his mind. there are so many guys out there. choose your pick.

drop him. why would he ask u 2 a movie and then say tomorow, MAYBE? sounds like he doesnt know what he wants. find a man that will ask you out without saying maybe.

just to be safe make the date a double-date. it should make everything alittle less confusing and you won't have any freaky silences. if you like him and he turns out to be unweird then be his girl, and vise versa.

Well, either you take a crash course in what it takes to date a shy guy, or you stumble thru it together. Don't make fun of him cause hes shy because he does like you. Can't say every date I've had was because the lady liked me. That sure makes up for a lot of things, including shy.
