I volunteered for two hours last weekend at my local homeless shelter.?
Question:
Answer:
For two hours of volunteering. Get real! There are many needs and you can afford to give more time! Then you can check it.
Morally, you shouldn't be allowed to check it off. You volunteered for 2 hours, and from the way you said it, it seems like you only did for the benefit of a checkmark on your application. I wouldn't check it off. Especially since they may ask you in your interview about it.
"Oh, how many hours did you get at the homeless shelter?"
Person #1: 75
Person #2: 45
Person #3 80
You: Two.
Wow! Two hours! We got ourselves another Mother Theresa on our hands!
You are a shallow twit!
i lived in a homeless shelter for a few months a few years ago and you could tell people like you coming in to HELP the home less. the people there are already beaten down by society stop using them more just to make things better for your self .people like you are unbelievable
If the application does not specify the time, it should count.
